Plattsburgh, NY – November 3, 2026 – TDC is proud to announce that President and CEO Danielle King has been recognized by City & State New York as one of its 2026 Trailblazers in Economic Development, representing the North Country on this year's list of influential leaders advancing economic growth and job creation across New York State.

King was recognized for her leadership in strengthening the North Country's economy through business recruitment, industrial development, and workforce development initiatives. Under her leadership, TDC continues to advance projects that support business growth, create employment opportunities, and strengthen the region's economic future.

Among the accomplishments highlighted by City & State are King's efforts to secure $1 million toward the construction of a childcare facility within an industrial park and her leadership in developing a build-to-suit pharmaceutical warehouse that has facilitated local job growth. King also brings extensive experience in regional economic development, having previously served as director of the North American Center of Excellence for Transportation Equipment. In 2025 and 2026 she was appointed by Governor Kathy Hochul to the North Country Regional Economic Development Council and SUNY Plattsburgh University Council, respectively.
